A/C Repair Checklist

	Replace accumulator or drier
	Replace orifice tube and/or expansion valve or valves
	Replace complete liquid line when orifice tube is captive
	Replace condenser if parallel flow (Most vehicles built after 2000)
	Flush complete system with A/C flush solvent
	Add proper amount of oil to required system components
	Add proper amount of refrigerant to the system

The above checklist is for reference only. It will help you better understand the process your certified A/C technician must perform. Please refer to Warranty section for more information.

Shipping Information

General Information - Orders received before 2pm Eastern time Monday thru Friday will be shipped the same day in most cases. UPS does not count the day an item ships, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as days in transit. Address changes made after the item is shipped will incur an $11 charge plus any additional postage from the original destination to the new destination.

Continental US including APO & FPO - Free shipping is offered through UPS Ground. We also offer 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air Saver for an additional cost. You can view prices and shipping options at checkout.

UPS does not ship to PO boxes. If you do NOT provide a physical address, your items will be shipped USPS Parcel Post.

Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico - There is an additional fee for items shipped to these locations. They will be shipped by UPS unless a PO Box is provided in which case they will be shipped USPS Priority Mail. This surcharge will automatically added by eBay at checkout.

Guam, Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Mariana Islands & Other Territories - There is a $30 additional fee to items shipped to these locations. eBay does NOT automatically add this surcharge. You must select 2nd Day Air at checkout. If you do not select 2nd Day Air your item will be shipped via USPS Parcel Post.

International - International shipping is processed through the eBay Global Shipping Program and all buyers are subject to the eBay Global Shipping policies.

Warranty

Compressor warranty void if compressor is not installed by a recognized certified professional installer.

Alpha Auto Parts warrants its remanufactured & new compressors for a period of twelve (12) months (Excluding commercial type vehicles. See below) from date of purchase if our installation procedures are followed (Please read our Installation Procedures section). If the procedures are not followed or you cannot provide proof they were followed, your warranty will be void.

Warning: Warranty for compressors excludes all commercial type vehicles including Vans, HD, Diesel and Super Duty Pickups as well as vehicles used for Taxi or Limousine services. The warranty is for 90 days on these vehicles if warranty guidelines are followed.

1) The accumulator and orifice tube or the receiver-drier and expansion valve must be replaced at the time of installation. Some vehicles are equipped with a liquid line with built-in orifice tube. If your vehicle is equipped with this type of line, the complete line must be replaced. Some newer vehicles are equipped with an inline filter. If your vehicle is equipped with an inline screen filter it must be replaced. Proof of purchase is required for all the above parts.

2) The entire A/C System (condenser, evaporator, and hoses) must be completely flushed with approved flush prior to installation of the compressor. If your vehicle has rear A/C , it will have two expansion valves two evaporators.

3) If your vehicle is equipped with a parallel flow type condenser, it's impossible to properly clean and must be replaced.

4) If your vehicle is equipped with a drier built into the condenser, the complete condenser must be replaced.

5) You must submit receipts for all parts and materials purchased for your warranty to be valid. Written receipts are not acceptable.

6) You must submit a work order/invoice for the work done on your vehicle for your warranty to be valid. Written receipts are not acceptable.

7) No credit will be issued for warranty returns with any component parts missing.

8) Warranty will be void if there is any noticeable tampering with labels on the compressor housing.

9) Credit for defects will be issued after A/C Compressors internal verification and testing is completed if the compressor is found to be truly defective (7 to 15 working days).

Warranty is extended to the original purchaser only.

Alpha Auto Parts' liability for any defective product or allegedly defective product is limited to replacement of that product with a non-defective product or refund of purchase price at Alpha Auto Parts' choice.

Alpha Auto Parts does not reimburse for nor accept claims for labor, freight, or refrigerant. Prior authorization (RMA#) and shipping instructions must be obtained from and product must be returned to Alpha Auto Parts freight prepaid.

Returns

Prior authorization and shipping instructions must be obtained from and product must be returned to AC Compressors freight prepaid.

If you need to return a part, please contact us for an RMA#. We will not accept returns without an authorized RMA#.

All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

The actual shipping cost will be deducted from parts returned from listing with free shipping if the part qualifies for return.
