For sale is for an OMC Intermediate Housing with drive shaft and tilt clutches for Stringer Stern Drives.

This OMC intermediate housing should fit almost all Stringer Stern Drives from 1978-1985.

OMC/BRP Part numbers: 981556 982062 982597 982695 982878

It is in great condition. The drive shaft bearings are perfect and not loose at all. There is absolutely no play in the shaft at all. It is guaranteed not to have worn bearings. If it has any internal damage when you get it then send it back for a full refund. The cap that goes over the clutch needs to be replaced. You can see it the picture below.

The shaft has 20 splines. They are not worn at at all.

The ball gear is about half way worn down. The tilt gears work fine.

This is from fresh water Wisconsin and has no corrosion.
