Up for sale is the factory ford cowl panel repair sheet metal section. This is the flimsy area that gets damaged bad when the hood flys up on the car due to a faulty latch assembly or forgetting to put the hood pins on. This will fit all 87-93 ford mustangs w/o any issues regardless of model type of car. Same cowl panel. Was cut from a 1991 ford mustang. When you damage your cowl panel, in most cases you can NOT repair the one you damaged because the hood latch arm area bends the cowl up so bad that the alignment will be off due to the bends in the hood arms itself. So this is that fix. Normal wear and tear expected still has some slight surface rust on the hood hangar area. You do not have to weld the whole panel in. Just the top area. So you will need to remove the spot welds and simply install the panel into your car as it sits. This is why the panel is cut out way past the spot welds. So you can remove it carefully from its shell and install it in your car. This will fix the hood alignment issues you have from the old panel and will make for a clean install.
