Hello.

This motor has been sitting in the garage for the longest time (10+ years). It has never been in water. However, when I plugged it to the battery, the propeller started to spin but stopped all of a sudden. It sounded like there was sand or dirt stick on the bottom where the propeller is located. I think that since it sat so long, there was an accumulation of dust. So I'm going to sell it as parts. Let me know if you have any questions.
