This is a high quality ITB Kit that is direct bolt on fitment to all m20 BMW engines. Includes CNC ported manifold with 24 degree angle to allow trumpet clearance over standard brake booster. All the trumpets spacers linkage and fasteners for complete assembly.

This ITB kit will improve the performance of your engine. We have proven this with even a standard 325i engine and the performance increase was nearly 30wHp. This was not just top end improvement as most people would have you believe ITB will only achieve, but improvement over the whole RPM range. The dyno graph shows this in black compared to the standard engine shown in red. In full race trim we have seen stroked m20 engines making over290wHp with this ITB kit.

E30 Specific Linkage Mechanism (not shown) will fit all e30 engine bays with a direct attachment for oem throttle cable. (Left Hand Drive vehicles require the use of 4cyl e30-36 318i throttle cable) Features include: wide open throttle stop, single Idle adjustment, primary return spring with tension adjustment for desired pedal feel, secondary return spring for safety, precision adjustable balance couplings between each throttle pair essential for precise throttle synchronization and progressive throttle operation to enhance light throttle control.

This kit now comes with a complete idle circuit component set that includes an accumulator and all the fittings that are needed for installation.

For good idle quality and smooth running at light throttle the design of the mechanism that couples the throttles together is highly critical. All our linkages incorporate the same principles used by Ferrari on their early multiple carburetor v12 engines. All our ITB kits come with this well proven coupling system that has fine adjustment for synchronizing the throttles then after setting up maintains PERFECT synchronization at all times!

Features Include

12L14 steel shafts, center-less ground 8mm and zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Slot design that firmly clamps the throttle plate. These will not work harden or break. Shafts are streamlined to less than 6mm for minimum flow loss.

This kit is available in 2 sizes: 40mm and 42mm and also available with gold or red trumpets. Please specify what size and color you want when placing an order!

If we do not get any instructions the kit will be shipped with 40mm throttles which is most suited to performance street engines up to 2.9L capacity and trumpet colour will be random.

ITBs are a highly tuned piece of equipment that can improve the performance of ANY engine but they must be designed to work with the engine. One of the most common errors is selecting an ITB of incorrect size. Air speed is more critical than air flow! Most products on the market are in fact released with no testing or design calculations done so the results are often disappointing.
