Airaid has engineered this cold air dam intake to boost the horsepower and torque of your Silverado or Sierra by supplying a large amount of airflow to the engine. The huge open-element air inlet is protected by the cold air dam panels to keep a steady flow of cold air. Blade style weather stripping on these panels also help to isolate the filter from heat coming off of the engine by sealing to the underside of the hood.

This intake kit installs easily into the original air box location as a direct replacement, and makes use of the factory cold air inlet ducts. The high airflow premium air filter that comes with this kit is washable and reusable, less restrictive than traditional air filters, and ensures superior filtration.
