This Original Style Floor Carpet for 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968 fastback Mustangs is precision heat molded in two separate pieces for a perfect fit and easy installation. The floor carpet features an original style, color matching front heel and toe pad on the driver side, as well as heavy 36 ounce jute padding that is attached to the underside for insulation. The Fold Down Seat Carpet is separated into three separate sections that must be cut to fit.



The 1965-1968 Mustang specific carpet is made using the same 80/20 loop material mix as the original carpet (80% rayon/20% nylon). The original loop material is tufted to a 5/32 gauge loop and contains 24 ounces of yarn per square yard. It is then dyed using the finest dyes available and tested for ozone humidity fading and light fastness.

Tech Tip: When you first take your new carpet set out of the box, you may notice quite a few wrinkles. This is normal. We recommend laying the carpet out in the sun for a few hours to help soften the jute backing and to help reduce the amount of wrinkles that are visible prior to installation.
