This is reprogramming service is for situations where:

1. You lost all your keys.
2. You want to program additional keys.                                                                             3. You have keys that are cut to your car but will not start the car due to defective transponder.
4. You used up all 8 placeholders in AAM and cannot program more keys. The dealer is telling you, you have to buy new key set / new AAM / new ECM.                                       5. Your original AAM / EAM / FBS is broken and you want to install a used one (cloning).

 

If the original AAM / EAM / FBS was cloned, the old, original keys will work without any additional programming.

 

By "keys will work", we mean they will start the car, the remote will not work and will need to be programmed with diagnostic equipment or a procedure.

 

NOTICE!!! We can provide transponders (PCF9735) at $15 per transponder. These are brand new transponders that we can install in your key and program the to your AAM / EAM / FBS. This is recomended on old keys where the transponders could be failing.

 

NOTICE!!! Please read the following carefully.

ML models cars contain key information in AAM unit up to 11/1999 up to VIN A057919. Location: in engine compart-ment under the fuse and relay module. Radio remote control information is in the same unit too.

 

 

ML models made after 11/1999 as of VIN A057920 contain key information in EAM unit (exactly in FBS module cartridge). Location: under steering column. Radio remote control information still in AAM unit located in engine compartment.

 

 

FBS is located inside the EAM. To take it out, lift plastic tab and slide it out.

 

 

One sure way to tell is the immobilizer data is stored in AAM or EAM / FBS is to take the AAM apart and count red matrices inside of it. AAM that containes immobilizer data HAS TO HAVE 7 RED MATRICES INSIDE!

FAQs

Q.  How does this service work?
A.  Simply, purchase the service and send the AAM / EAM / FBS keys to us (instructions will be provided after the purchase) and we will ship it back after programming.

Q.  What's the turnaround?
A.  We'll ship back the same or next day (weekdays).

Q.  Who pays for shipping?
A.  You pay to ship the item to us and we pay to ship back to you.

Q.  Can I send another (used) AMM / EAM / FBS from another car to be used in my car?
A.  Yes you can.

Q. Can I send used key to be programmed to my AMM / EAM /FBS?                               A.  Yes but the transponder in it will have to be replaced.

Q.  Will the AAM / EAM / FBS be opened?
A.  Yes, we have to open it in order to make a backup and write the new file.

Q.  I was told that once all keys are lost it is impossible to program new keys to the old TWICE and that I will have to buy a new one. Is this true?
A.  No, this is not true. It is impossible to program new keys when all programmed keys are lost BUT only using OEM procedures and tools (at the dealership). We are using direct programming method and are able to do so without any problem.

Q.  What is your success rate? Do you offer any warranty?
A.  The success rate is 100%. The keys will be programmed and are 100% guaranteed to work. However, this service is not a fix for all starting problems. You are the one responsible for proper diagnosis.

Q.  How to remowe the AAM / EAM / FSB?
A.  Please search YouTube and Google it. There is a lot of information on the subject.
