New, Genuine Ford original equipment Transmission Oil Pan / Carter (17, 8mm bolts), Molded (Bonded) reusable gasket and green seal pan filter for Ford AXOD / AXODE / AX4S FWD 4 Speed Transmissions usually found in Ford, Mercury and Lincoln vehicles, model years 1996 - 2003.
This oil pan may not fit AX4S-HO Overdrive transmissions.
This particular pan calls for a reusable gasket, see pictures of engraving on top of pan.
This transmission oil pan / gasket kit includes:
One (1) Transmission Oil Pan # 86765
One (1) Molded, reusable transmission Oil Pan Gasket # 86300GW
One (1) Transmission Oil Pan Filter # 86010H
Please Note: There are three different types of filters for the AXOD family of transmissions.
Filter, w/ .250” neck, Orange Lip Seal 86-95 86010 67800B
Filter, w/ .490” neck, Orange Lip Seal (Taurus SHO) 93-95 86010E 67800C
Filter, w/ .420” neck, Green Lip Seal 96-03 86010H 67800D
The three types of filters are interchangeable, the different permutations simply represent an evolution of the product. We also know from experience that the Green Lip Seal Filter also fits AX4S-HO Overdrive transmissions 1996 and above (Taurus SHO). The .250" orange lip seal filter is the early type of filter which was later replaced by the .420" green lip seal filters. If you have a preference of filter please send us a note with your order.
If you don't know which filter specifically applies to your vehicle you can't go wrong with the default order (recommended) which is the modern style green lip seal filter 86010H 67800D.
