For sale is this WWII era Waukesha DC generator and battery cart. This rare GPU was made for the Air force during WWII. 100% original. I do not have specific dates but these units were made from the late 1930’s to mid 1940’s. Its power plant is the model ICK engine which was a very popular engine that was built from 1938 to 1973 with about 50,000 made. I am attaching a sales bulletin on it from 1939 on the bare engine. This unit runs great and has had an easy life for the last 20 years helping start a Cessna 310, and Piper Navajos from time to time. This GPU starts right up with no hesitation. Carb has been run through, fresh oil and coolant change this year, with new belts completed three months ago. Batteries are not included but all connectors are. Currently wired with a long heavy duty 3 inline plug. Has the power to start anything from a Cessna 150 to a Hawker. Can be delivered for extra cost within 300 miles of
Pittsburgh PA by pickup. Or buyer will have to arrange another shipping method
