This is a Grumman Sportboat rudder head and blade. The wooden tiller handle is not included. This rudder is for the Sportboat only. It will not fit a standard or flat back canoe. 

If you need a rudder for a canoe, I've got a rudder head available, and I can provide a pattern to cut a blade in either the old round style like this or the newer straight blade style. 

The Sportboat rudder is unique because the pintles are designed to fit into the transom top and the lower fitting at different lengths. 

This rudder is suitable for all lateen, gunter, and Class C rigs when used on a SportBoat.
