Once you receive your item, please do not sign the release papers from the transport company until you have properly inspected the goods and made sure nothing is damaged by the shipping company. If there is any noticeable sign of damage on the product, please note it down on the waybill before signing it at the bottom. If you do not make a note of this on the waybill, Used JDM Engine will NOT be held responsible for any damages during shipment.
Contact us for an RMA (Return Material Authorization) #. Returns without a RMA # will not be accepted.
Return the product to us with the original packaging and a copy of the original receipt to the address given to you by the customer service representative. We'll usually give you the address to the warehouse nearest you.
Any returns arriving to our warehouse without a RA number will be refused. Also, include the invoice with your returned package.
Item must be in the same condition it was sold and fully assembled. We must receive all of the parts that were included in the sale for the warranty to be valid. (THE RETURNED ITEM MUST MATCH THE ORIGINAL PICTURES)
There is a 90 days start-up warranty on this motor. This warranty will cover that no problems will occur if the engine is installed in the vehicle properly by a certified mechanic. In the event that a part of the engine block or head is found to be defective, this part will be replaced.
Our warranty covers all internal engine parts. Engine block, cylinder barrels and cylinder head are also warranted to be free of cracks or distortion.
The customer is responsible for all the freight charges on the return of defective items and no replacement part will be sent until our staff have inspected and verified the the returned defective item in question. . The customer is responsible for all the shipping charges for the returned product. You must have a RA number or Return Authorization number from Used JDM Engine before you can return your product. Please have the RA number written on the outside of the package.
We are not responsible for any labour work. Our warranty is ONLY on the motor block and head.
Warranty is VOID if engine is blown or seized due to customer negligence - (i.e, racing, running vehicle without motor oil, high revving, etc)
All wear and tear parts (e.g. timing belt, water pump, belts, seals, spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc.) are not covered under warranty.
Warranty of any Seized or Blown engines by customer during warranty period due to unprofessional installation or any other reason is void.
You will receive the item as shown in the pictures. Any other additional parts required to complete your swap will have to be purchased separately. Some products may require additional components to be fully functional.
