Shur-Set III with Charger The Breakaway Kit is intended for use on 1, 2 or 3 axle trailers with electric brakes. Mounts on jack post or A-frame for quick, easy installation. Rust-proof heavy duty polyethylene case protects battery & charger from elements & corrosion. Meets or exceeds D.O.T. specs. regarding Breakaway/Holding requirements. Breakaway systems are required on all trailers that are required to have brakes. (Check Federal Regulation #393.43) Includes battery case with mounting bracket, 12v sealed, rechargeable battery, nylon breakaway switch. With or without DC trickle charger.
