Only needs front tin and a clutch. Everything else is included. Rebuilt 1970 type 1 VW engine. 1600cc single port. For this year, single port was the original feature. The heads were "soda" blasted and are a matching set for the block. I've spent numerous hours cleaning and restoring parts on this engine. All tins are original, painted with VHT wrinkle high temp. All the paint used is high temp. New piston and rings, cylinders, valves, distributer, coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, 12v generator, mechanical fuel pump and more. The carburetor is a rebuilt original Solex pict 30. The engine was recently bore lined. This original magnesium block is in great condition. The aftermarket blocks are aluminum.
