As you can see by my photos, this is a factory original tailgate molding from a 1965 Tempest Station Wagon.

​This chrome die cast molding measures 59 3/4 long x 2 1/4 wide and has part #4540591 cast into the backside.  It is in nice original condition with no dings, dents, damage, or any previous repairs and all of the mounting studs & hardware are still intact.  The chrome is still bright & shiny however there is some freckling and minor pitting on this panel.  The worst of the pitting is on the lower edge of the molding.  Please view all of my photo's showing the condition of this hard to find part.

In my opinion it is in better than driver quality condition but certainly not show quality. It will make a very good core for replating or use it as is.

​I will professionally box insure and ship this molding to your door wrapped in a plastic pvc pipe for safe delivery.
