We’ve all struggled with the problem of reading our gauges at night due to poor lighting. Modern technology has come to the rescue in the form of white LEDs. However, single LEDs are too directional to work effectively. The big advancement has been the low cost incorporation of SMT (surface mount technology) LEDs into a configuration that can approximate a conventional incandescent light bulb’s omnidirectional illumination. I am a vintage Italian car owner who developed these as an experiment for my car. I was so pleased with the results, that I have offered them to other Italian car enthusiasts. Response has been great for these bulbs and to-date I have made over 14,000 of them. The attached photos show before and after water temp gauges along with a tach.

The kits include the 8 bulbs for each of the gauges plus the clock and courtesy light. The kit does not include the small warning lights. The bulbs are offered in 2 colors, cool white and warm white (an example is shown in the photos). The cool white  is the typical white LED color and the warm white LED is closer to the color an incandescent light would produce. Since eBay does not support color options in this category, please send me a note if you would prefer the warm white bulbs, otherwise cool white will be provided.
