Up for sale is a Volvo CR-712 stock Stereo head unit for a 1987-1990 Volvo 240. Unit was pulled from a 1988 Volvo 240. Will fit in any post 1980 240. Unit was tested and needs to be repaired or used for parts. The cassette function is finnicky The cassette sometimes plays flawlessly sometimes the cassette just stops depending on which tape side it's on. I'm guessing the auto reverse function needs to be lubricated maybe.  I can't verify this as I'm not an electronics guy. Am/Fm is fine. Rewind and fast forward work flawlessly. Plastic between the glass and the LCD needs to be cleaned. Backlighting is perfect. Radio was apparently serviced in 1999 according to the sticker on the top. Has EQ and amp outputs so this would be perfect for someone who wants to make a bitchin stock Volvo stereo system setup! With that being said, This unit is for someone who knows how to repair electronics.
