This remote uses a 3-volt CR2032 battery.

Please note: When used with the Edge and onyX receiver, only applicable buttons will function. Buttons for features not available on the Edge or onyX (rec, mode, disp) are not used. When using with the Edge, the volume button works as a Direct Tune feature, and does not control volume.
