If you win an auction on a Saturday, Sunday or a Holiday, your order will not be processed until the next business day. You should receive your order no later than 10 business days from the date that the item was paid for.


We are happy to accept returns on parts, but you have to follow the procedures listed below to get your return credited back to you.


Returns must be called in within 20 days of your delivery receipt, and you must receive pre-approval. Of you have any questions about a return, you can call us at 800-519-7945.

Repackage in the original, undamaged package. You must put the part back in the original, undamaged and complete container. If your package has been damaged, you must call us to discuss the return.

Parts must be in the original condition. Your part cannot be disassembled, painted, mounted or damaged due to incorrect or attempted installation. You will not be credited for any returns that have missing components. We are not responsible for any installation errors, towing expenses, labor expenses, repair expenses or rental car costs that are incurred due to the use or installation of a wrong or defective part.

Non-Refundable Parts

There are a few parts that you cannot return:

  • Obsolete parts
  • Discontinued parts
  • Vinatage parts
  • Service and repair manuals
  • Custom or special order products
  • CD ROMs
  • Auto body parts
  • Any electrical part that has been plugged in, installed or unsealed
Return Procedure

  1. Call 800-519-7945 within 20 days of the date of delivery to get your Return Authorization (RA) number. We are open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. EST and on Fridays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. EST. Have your order number or invoice number, full name and address, phone number and email address handy, as well as your part number and the reason for the return.
  2. You must use the original undamaged and unmarked package for your return. When you call us, ask if there are any special packaging instructions that you need to do for your return. We are not responsible for a return that arrives to us damaged due to packaging.
  3. We will send you your RA and shipping instructions by email.

You cannot return any item without a pre-authorized RA.

Return Freight Charges

We do not reimburse freight charges on orders unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Core Returns

Some parts have a core charge attached to them, and this is refundable from the manufacturer to ensure that the replacement part is returned. You are responsible for all shipping charges on core returns. You must include a copy of the original invoice with the part for return identification. The part must be clean, assembled, drained of all fluids and not have any missing parts. It must be complete, undamaged and placed in the original package used for the replacement part. We will process your return as soon as we receive it, and your core credit will be available within 15 days. Normally, there are core charges on parts like generators, starters, catalytic converters, alloy wheels, engines, ECM/BCM modules, transmissions, transfer cases and some diesel fuel parts like injectors. If you need assistance with your core return, you can call us or send us an email through Ebay's Message Center. We will get back to you within 24-48 hours.

Refunds

Any refunds or core returns are generally processed and credited within 15 days of the date we receive the return at our warehouse. We forward the returns to the manufacturer for inspection and approval. When the refund has been approved and processed, the credit will be applied to the same credit card or account used during the parts purchase.

A company check may be offered for a refund.

We will send you a “Credit Approval” email when your account has been credited. There may be a delay in the processing by your bank or credit card company. It can take 4 to 7 business days, and if you do not have your credit within 20 days, then please contact us, and we will help you.

Damaged Items

The carrier is responsible for getting your package to you, and if it is damaged, you need to contact us immediately. We may need to contact the shipping company on your behalf.

Do not throw out any of the packaging, as it will need to be inspected by the shipper. If you do not keep the packaging or do not comply, the claim will be denied.

OEM Part Warranty Information

Chrysler, Mazda, Volvo, GM & Nissan warranty their parts for 12 months or 12,000 miles & Ford warranties their parts for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. You may make a warranty exchange at any approved OEM Dealership as long as you have proof of purchase. Any part that has been altered is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. It does not cover any part that is defective or failed because of another part. If a part is defective, NewAutoParts will replace the defective part once we receive all the information required to process a factory warranty claim.

New Auto Parts is responsible for the replacement of the item only, and we are not responsible for shipping, handling, downtime, lost revenue or any other expense incurred above and beyond the actual original purchase price of the defective item.
