This auction is for two used brace rods for 1940 Chevrolet front fenders.  These are the support rods that mount one end on the frame and one end on the lip of the fender just behind the wheel opening.  These braces are used parts which I removed from a 1940 Master 85 car and are correct for the Model 85, Master Special and Master Deluxe models.  Overall length is about 15 inches and the spacing between the holes is about 14 1/4 inches and the rod diameter is about 3/8 inches.  One rod has a slight bend which can readily be straightened before installation.

I do not know if these or similar rods were used for other years or makes of GM vehicles, so please check and be sure they will work for your application if you are not planning to use them on a 1940 Chevrolet car.
