1957 Johnson Sea Horse 5.5 HP Outboard Motor CD 14 NICE

A nice clean and in great condition 1957 Johnson Sea Horse 5.5 HP tiller handle outboard motor. It has not been in the water for several years and was running good when put away and always stored inside. Forward, Neutral and Reverse Tiller handle control and manual pull start, 17" from the transit to lower skeg. Serial # 1512633, model # CD-14 and has a 2 blade aluminum prop. MISSING THE SEA HORSE EMBLEM. Was owned by a old timer and only used in fresh water mostly in Wisconsin and MN. The only testing that was performed was to pull the rope, has very good compression and no other testing was performed. Being Sold As Is Where Is. I believe with a new set of spark plugs and maybe a little fine tuning you will have a sweet running little motor. Used very little and in very good condition as pictures will show. STAND NOT INCLUDED. You will need to make your own shipping arrangements with a shipper of your choice or ((PICK UP IS ALWAYS WELCOME.)) For shipping i might suggest Herbert Transport Sheri or Darren at 586-524-7701 or 586-709-0282 for a shipping option. Herbert Transport will blanket wrap and does a good job and very reasonable. Herbert Transport has delivered several items for me including antiques. The outboard will need to be picked up from a residential address 60641. Please make sure your shipper will blanket wrap for a safe arrival. Weight will be approximately 40 pounds only guessing. NOTE: (((( I CAN ALSO DROP THE OUTBOARD OFF AT UPS AND YOU MAKE YOUR OWN SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS WITH UPS AND PAY UPS DIRECT FOR ANY AND ALL SHIPPING COST.
