This is a complete 5.0L Chevy 305 engine w/ only 64,000 miles (auction is for engine only, transmission has been sold); the engine has only 64,000 miles on them. This was removed from a 1990 Chevy Caprice. This was purchased from a towing company where the owner passed away. One of the workers explained that this was a spare motor that he was hanging onto as a spare for his own vehicle. This comes with the wire harness & computer & is complete from oil pan to air cleaner. The throttle body is completely clean. You can tell this has low miles. The only thing missing from this engine is the starter & the alternator. The block is stamped with GM 5.0L. This motor was stored in a garage away from the elements.
If you wanted to take out your old carbureted engine & modernize to fuel injection, everything you need is right here. Like I said before, complete harness, computer, sensors, etc.
There is no warranty with this engine or (explicit or implied whatsoever), due to the fact that I am not the one installing it. I've been in the business for 20 years, and I've seen plenty of people make mistakes during engine installations, and then blame the junkyard or enguine rebuilder. Even if you've been in the business too, I've seen someone in the business for 40 years make a mistake already; we're all human & all make mistakes.
We will offer freight shipping, however, this is going to be in the $300-$600 shipping range depending on your location, as it is quite large & heavy. Alternatively if you have a shipping broker, I will strap it to a pallet for you & they can come pick it up.
