For sale is a custom set of side skirts/splitters for the S2 Lotus Elise. Please note that these are NOT for Exige. The skirts are made from 1/8" ABS plastic, a durable and flexible material. The side skirts are molded to follow the body line curving in at the entry/exit area to allow getting in and out of car just as easy (or difficult) as it came from factory. The outside edge is wrapped with neoprene rubber trims to create an OEM look. The skirts will not interfere with any jack/lift point under the car.

ABS plastic comes with a wrinkle flat black finish on one side and a semi smooth satin surface on the other. If you are looking for a show car finish, I recommend getting these professionally painted as they do come with some "natural" imperfections on the surface, however you can choose to use them as is (as shown in pictures). The skirts initially feel elastic and flimsy upon handling, but once mounted in place, they become firm and rigid. Upon impact, ABS plastic will not crack like fiberglass or get bent like aluminum. 

Please note that there will be no instruction included, except what's written below. Installation requires a drill with 1/4" drill bit. Each side comes with 12 holes pre-drilled showing the drill plan. To begin, align the skirts to run adjacent to the aluminum under panel. Slide the front end under the OEM mud flap while ensuring that the outer edge conformed nicely to the mud flap leaving no gap. After everything lined up, use tape to temporarily hold the skirts in place while carrying out the drill plan. Once the holes are made, the skirts can be installed or removed within minutes. 24 high quality push-in plastic rivets are included.
