This disc can be paired with any of our pressure plates or any other brand. This disc is built for great holding capacity and enables drivers to shift quicker than usual and hard slips all the way to the finish line. Due to the weight of the drive plate, your shifts will become much more easier, lighter and also quicker. Our 6-puck, spring-centered race disc features a spring-center construction to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. GRIP's spring retainers utilize wrap around spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. With the 6-puck, spring-centered race disc engagement is aggressive but streetable. The disc can absorb three times more amount of heat then a regular OEM disc. Our race disc is recommended for all types of racing. Its also available for every application. 500 mile break-in is mandatory to receive the best results. Suggested for any modified, street & track driven application. CLUTCH CHATTER IS NORMAL ON ALL PUCK CLUTCHES. Clutch Discs: With years of expertise our engineers design, develop, test and manufacture distinctive friction and steel materials. We manufacture outstanding friction and steel materials with remarkable friction and wear characteristics that will help engage the clutch smoothly. The disc spring is the center section of a clutch disc in which we add stronger springs with a semi-closed retainer to prevent any springs from popping out and destroying another important part in your engine. Our spring-type disc are used worldwide to put an end to all engine and driveline noise by absorbing vibrations. This provides you a comfortable driving style.
Release Bearings: The primary focus on release bearings is manufacturing them with high grade steel and premium grease. Our release bearings are designed for high temperature, and high rotating speed. Its also designed for exclusive use in any manual transmission clutch. Antoher key benefit is that our our engineers designed this premium component with aligning function and positioning features. It has low-friction factor resin which reduces rotation abrasion of the axle. As a result, you get high speed and high precision in bearings that are durable and compact. Benefiting from our continually advancing technology, these parts are at work in normal automobiles and fully built race cars. In every kit, our bearings contribute to better reliability. This Kit Includes The Following:
Miba buttons are produced using a patented “sprinkling technique”, and compacted powder metallurgy. Metal powder is first sprinkled and compacted directly on the steel backing plate using precision tools and high pressure. This procedure helps to assure a 100% sintered bond. The sintering is then carried out in furnaces at temperatures up to 2400°F degrees. The powders fuse together (sinter) into a solid material, matching the desired load. A final “coining” operation, which includes color-coding and testing, ensures exact material density, thickness consistency, and precise centering on the backing plate. Unlike other manufacturers that rely on large amounts of low-cost iron as a “filler” material, Miba relies on a bronze-based material while adding only small amounts of iron to act as a hardening agent. Buttons that use a higher content of bronze, versus iron, are more expensive to produce. However, higher levels of wear resulting from the use of iron buttons prematurely destroys cores and cost substantially more in the long run, resulting in the need to purchase replacement plates and carriers more often.
