For sale is one re-manufactured lower unit for Mercury Mariner outboard motors. This is a Mercury Brand OEM Case with all Mercury OEM Brand Parts.

This lower unit is in great condition. It has been disassembled and internally inspected. All of the gears and bearings are in perfect condition. There are all new seals.  We put in a new impeller.  This case has been pressure tested and does not leak.  The skeg is perfect. You will get the exact lower unit pictured above.

The Mercury part number is 1600-888845T08 for the complete lower unit.  
The drive shaft part number is 45-897679T01.  
The casting number on the case is 1600-888845-C.

The drive shaft measures 26 inches from the case (base of the water pump housing) to the tip.  This is the long shaft commonly known as 20 inch.
 The prop shaft has 15 splines.  
The gear ratio is 2.33:1. 12/28 Gears
