These valve covers are manufactured for the specialty race / restoration market. 

The pent roof valve covers have stainless steel socket head cap screws raised to the top of the valve covers for extra clearance, and built in oil baffle plates to keep the rockers from throwing oil into the breathers or when billet caps are off, or other accessories such as PCV valve are chosen. The valve covers have been Blanchard Ground, so they're absolutely flat. They are also shot peened with stainless steel for a natural aluminum finish that wipes clean from oil, and will not rust. You will notice two bumps inside the valve cover, those bumps are to accommodate valve cover clips (if so desired). This is the definition of premium in every respect!

Please note: This is high quality polishable aluminum; so if you choose to polish them years down the line for a diffrent look you won't be disappointed!
