This Rotax 503 DCDI engine is freshly overhauled - zero timed.  It has a new crankshaft and rotating parts.  Overhauled carbs, pull starter, and new exhaust manifold (y-pipe) is included.  This engine is a Provision 8 engine ready to accept your gearbox or belt drive and your exhaust.  Electric starter can be added.  Comes with new engine logbook with "return to service" entry made by A&P/Rotax certified repairman and overhaul receipt.

The engine does have one mounting stud receptacle on the case welded due to an error in a previous mount the engine was mounted to.  The stud is vertical and fits any standard 503 mounting plate or bars.  There has never been a hole in the case....see photos.  The case has been signed off for "return to service" by A&P.  The cooling shroud does have some overspray on the black paint (also shown in the photos) but this overspray rubs off easily just rubbing with your finger, no solvents needed.

This engine would make an easy swap for someone with a runout 503 that doesn't want to wait on the overhaul to be performed.  I have the reserve set at less than the total cost of the overhaul.  I may also consider taking a used 503 on trade for partial payment, just ask.
