Draw-Tite 5504 Activator IV Electronic Brake Controller


Draw-Tite's Activator IV electronic trailer brake control combines all the great features found on Activator I & II, III plus it features a Plug-N-Play port to accept Tow Ready custom fit wiring harnesses, making installation on most full-size pickups, vans and SUV's a snap.

  • Output - For ease of adjustment, the output control is located on the front of Activator IV. It has a up-front push button adjustment and its output indicator is a digital display that shows the output when the brakes are applied.

  • Sync - The sync control has push button adjustment located on the front of the controller to syncronize the braking between the tow vehicle and trailer. The sync setting is shown on the Activator IV's digital display.

  • Manual - The manual control is activated by squeezing the trigger located on the front of Activator IV. When applied, it will illuminate both the tow vehicle and trailer's stop lights as required by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regulations.

  • Installation - Activator IV has no moving parts or pendulums to adjust, so it can be mounted in virtually any position. Activator IV also includes a Plug-N-Play port to accept Tow Ready brake control harnesses.

  • Fits 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Trailers. Includes mounting bracket and hardware.

•Not recommended for use with BMW X5 Sport Utility Vehicles.

We ship using the USPS, UPS and FedEx.
We choose which method to use for your shipment. We do not 3rd party
bill any shipping charges. Most items are shipped within 3 business
days of purchase.



Larger items will ship via freight and must be delivered to a
commercial address. Please refer to description if this applies.



All damaged items, factory defects and errors must be reported
immediately upon receipt of item. For factory defects and errors we
offer a full return policy. We offer a full credit including the
original shipping and handling, or replacement. 



When returning defective items, please include a complete description
of the defect. All defective items will be subject to the
Manufacturer's warranty policy. 



INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Import
duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping
charges. These charges are the buyers responsibility. Please check with
your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs
will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected
by the freight or shipping company when you pickup the item. Do not
confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark
merchandise values below item price, or mark them as "gifts" US and

Returns

We will accept unused returns within 14 days. 
Buyers must contact us upon receipt of merchandise asking for a return 
authorization. Item must be in same exact condition (including packaging) as 
received and completely unused for merchandise credit of purchase price. Buyers 
are responsible for the return shipping charges. All returns will be charged a 
20% restocking fee. Sorry, no exceptions.
