Up for sale is a barely used, never raced custom built FTI billet torque converter. This converter was custom ordered from FTI 10/15 for an 05' Chevy Silverado which is daily driven- it was removed last month with approximately 7000 miles on it. It was ordered as a 9.5 inch, triple disc billet lock-up converter with a stall speed of 2600. It may stall slightly lower or higher, depending on your vehicle setup. It was spec'd for a GM 4L60-E, 4L65-E, or 4L70-E transmission (all with PWM TCC lockup). This will NOT fit 700R4 or early non-electronic 4L60, as this is a lockup torque converter designed for use in an electronically controlled (PWM- pulse width modulated) torque converter lockup circuit as in the 3 mentioned transmissions. As for why we are selling this barely used, custom built $1200 torque converter is due to an engine change in our customers truck. He needed a different stall. There is nothing wrong with this converter. Since removal it has been covered with a rubber converter cover, as seen in pictures. It will be shipped in a big, foam padded box meant for converters.
