SHOEI VFX-W OFF-ROAD HELMET

FOUR SHELL SIZES
The VFX-W’s uniquely designed shell is available in four sizes to accommodate a more fine tuned fit. The shell is constructed with SHOEI’S own high performance AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus Multi-Fiber), a combination of fiberglass and organic fibers. The result is an ultra-lightweight and rigid, yet elastic structure. The eye port in particular has been increased to accommodate larger goggle sizes. For performance and a comfortable fit, the VFX-W™ has the bases covered.

DUAL-LAYER IMPACT ABSORPTION LINER
The VFX-W™ utilizes a Dual-Layer EPS liner, designed to improve rider safety. It is comprised of two pieces exclusively to allow softer EPS closer to the rider’s head, and stiffer EPS backing it up closer to the helmet’s shell. The VFX-W™ also features an EPS liner in the chin bar.

3D MAX-DRY REMOVABLE LINER SYSTEM
The interior of the VFX-W™ is constructed with a comfortable, synthetic fiber material that absorbs moisture twice as fast as traditional nylon interiors, after which it gets exhausted by polymer in the center, keeping the fabric’s surface cool. Cheek pads, center pad and chin strap are easily removed for cleaning, replacement and a fine-tuned fit. SHOEI has introduced the E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick Release System) consisting of a red tab located on the cheek pads so the helmet can be easily taken off by a non-rider in the event of an accident; just pull the tab down to quickly remove either cheek pad.

VENTILATION SYSTEM
The VFX-W™ combines front intake vents with rear vents and a neck outlet vent to maximize flow-through ventilation. Vent openings are protected by a mesh screen which helps prevent debris from entering the helmet. The VFX-W™’s interior is cooled by air passing into the front intake vents and exhausted through the rear vents by the force of negative air pressure.

SLEEK VISOR
A distinctive feature of the VFX-W™’s design is the V-430 Sleek Visor, merging an aggressive look with the purpose of minimizing wind resistance. Visor maintenance and removal is simplified with the use of three easy to handle visor screws, accessible from the exterior of the helmet. A matte black sticker is included for use on the visor’s inner surface (not available for black or matte black helmets), diminishing excess light reflection.

SLEEK MOUTH PIECE
The VFX-W™’s Sleek Mouth Piece compliments the aggressive, accelerated look of the visor. It features an aluminum mesh screen to protect against small rocks and debris, a filter for protection from rain and dust and is easily removed for cleaning. Mud guard included.
