Up for bid is a rare steering column quadrant for an early model year 1915 Model T Ford (late 1914 calander year production). The info is copied below:
"Factory Blueprints indicate that the new one-piece gear case was approved on September 5, 1914. On September 18, 1914 the steering gear quadrant was redesigned. The new quadrant was made from cold-rolled steel and was to be brass plated. Early types of the steel quadrant were made with the serrated edge folded up, somewhat in the manner of the earlier design. September drawings show the later type (without the fold). There may have been two versions of the earlier design quadrant; one made of brass and the other of steel. Both are shown on the blueprint."
The one for bid here is in nice shape, with some wear to the teeth as expected. Some rust. Im not sure if it was nickel plated at one time, or the steel is bright and not rusty. Harder to find than the brass quadrants. Please check the pictures for details and condition.

I ship using USPS Mail (wither First Class, Media, Parcel Selct, or Priority Mail). I do not intentionally overcharge on shipping and will state in the auction if I have to add Handling fees for packing material. Ebay now takes 10% of the shipping price so please RETHINK BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE BAD DSR'S FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING OR SHIPPING TIME! The shipping time and service have had the terms listed.
