1930 's 1940 's VINTAGE FUEL TANK GASOLINE CAP COVER LID FORD CHEVY BUICK

Description:

This is a Vintage Replated Gas/Fuel Cap circa 30 's 40 s'.

It looks like it has been replated at some point.

I am not sure of the original application so here are some specs:

The cap measures 2 7/8" O.D.

The underside hub measures: 1 1/2" round. The "ear" measure: 1 3/4" across the span.

The face of this cap is beautiful, no dents, no dings.

The edges have a couple of spots where they have been slightly pushed in.
