Description:   A New-Old-Stock German Volkswagen Door Handle Escutcheon for use on the 1967 and earlier Volkswagen Transporter or Bus with the optional sliding door.   This is an OEM German Escutcheon, with some light scuffs and scratches as seen in the pictures, but overall in excellent condition with no evidence of corrosion or wear.   According to the factory parts manual, this Escutcheon is compatible with the sliding door handle 211-843-703E used up through 1966 as well as the 211-843-703J handle used in 1967.    Rare, rare, item.
