FOR SALE is an Air Box Lid dust seal to suit all NISSAN Patrol, Safari, Seranza GU and GR, Y61 with Diesel engines from 1997 to 2015 with a plastic Air Box located behind the left side headlight. (See photos for type of Air box)  The seal is MID BLUE in colour, a one piece moulded and custom made to fit. It is made from a high specification, soft polymer to take the shape of the space between the air box and the lid without stressing the lid or the clips, to create an even seal. It is NOT a hard Nitrile "O" ring and it is NOT glued from a length of extruded foam. It is moulded as one continuous ring, manufactured especially for  2.8L, 3.0L and  4.2TD and 4.2TDi and variants  The seal is oil and heat resistant and has a high core strength that enables it to keep it's shape over an extended  period of time. The seal has one flat face and this should face out and should be visible after it has been is fitted to the air box lid! Colour may vary!

 Disclaimer: IMPORTANT CONDITIONS OF SALE:   Due to the qualiy of the original moulded airbox and lid, age, owner modifications, engine bay heat and wear and tear of the air box and lid over time, the sealing ability of the seal cannot be guaranteed for each individual vehicle.This seal is primarily sold as a dust seal so If you intend to use your vehicle in water higher than the manufacturer's maximum 700 mm  wading depth, or use your vehicle in deep water or deep river crossings, you the buyer or preferably a mechanically qualified person must do basic testing to ensure the seal excludes water in your vehicles air intake.  Water damage to Diesel engines can be very expensive!

 After purchasing and fitting the seal to your vehicle, if you are not completely sure the seal will provide an airtight/watertight barrier in your vehicle and / or you DO NOT agree with the Conditions of Sale, please return it for a full refund. Your return postage will also be refunded in full. The seller will NOT be held responsible for water damage to engines! It is the responsibility of the vehicles owner to ensure the seal is fully protecting their engine!  Obviously if you are exceeding the manufacturer's  maximum wading depth, you will also need a good fitting, watertight snorkel to raise the air intake well above the water depth. Liability only extends to a full refund on return of the seal, including the return postage.

Check your seal regularly to ensure it is in good condition and replace when necessary!   After fitting the seal, we strongly recommend that the seal be checked a few days later to ensure that it has a continuous impression on the flat surface of the seal where it contacts the air box to confirm a good seal.
