Pilot Locks™ Outboard Motor Lock for 2.5-8HP engines. This is a high quality outboard motor lock manufactured by Edgemere R & D in Worcester, Massachusetts.

This lock is custom machined from high quality stainless steel and solid brass.  There is no carbon and no chance that it will rust.  All raw materials, including the brass padlock are proudly sourced and manufactured in the United States!

The tube assembly is built from .112" stock, the thickest on the market!

We designed this lock for use in highly corrosive salt water environments.  

The SM9 fits portable engines ranging 2.5-8 HP.  The SM9 is easily installed on Yamaha, Mercury and many other brands.  Please see dimentions below for compatibilty or feel free to send any questions regarding your application.

The slot which fits over the threaded clamps is 1/2" width.

The horizontal dimention of the slot is approximately 8" long.

The space between the shackle and the end of the slot is approximately 7.50" long.
