Ford 428 CobraJet engine Block Std. Bore. This is a near new Ford 428 CJ service block. This has C and X scratch on the back . This block is dated 1H31 and may have been new . came out of a Ford dealer in arizona . Block was greased up very well so we gave it to a very anal machinist we use and he burned all the grease and paint off it and ran it through his stainless steelebrater . he then used a BHJ torque plate to square it and lightly honed it . It still has .003-.0035 honing stock left so it could be run at standard. Block looks better than NOS. Its oiled and ready to ship on a pallet and wrapped. We will get quotes for lowest possible freight charges at time of sale…. $250 is an estimate.
