Vintage Mallory coil. Uncertain of intended application. I do not have a proper way to test, but was able to get a spark out of it by the use of some test leads and a 12v source. No further testing done. Has a chip in the plastic at one end (see photos) but appears to be in decent shape otherwise. May be useful in one of your projects.
