Installation:
- Remove existing nut or stud from the spare wheel
- Insert the key into the spare wheel lock.Do not turn the key
- Now, remove the chrome cover from the nut/ stud with the key intact
- Insert the nut/ stud by hand into the carrier and tighten using a wrench
- With the key still intact - replace the chrome cover and then remove the key
Tech Tip:
- Clean the thread with a wire brush if any rust is present.
- Do not force the nut/ stud as this may result
in cross threading.
