**1949 Mercury Rear Deck Trunk Lid Lock Assembly Handle *Not cracked or broken. *Plating fairly bright & shiny but showing some light scratches & also showing its age. *The swing lid emblem retainer is intact but the plastic mercury logo emblem is badly crazed. Also the red background has been repainted. *Backside appears to have been painted black at one time, some has flaked off. *All the stud threads are good. *There is no lock assembly. *# on backside: 8M 7043525? *A good piece to use on your driver or excellent candidate for re-plate for show.
