Up for sale here is a 3963512 427,454 block dated f 17 9, this was pulled out of a drag boat and has been well used . I bought this project exactly as you see it. It is .060 over and appears to be able to hone and use as is but to be perfect a bore may be in order. The #7 cylinder liquid locked and windowed the cylinder. I have taken it to my machinist to inspect and he said it can easily take a sleeve since the bottom and top have no cracks. This comes with a steel 427 (6223 casting) crankshaft and 7/16 dimple rods(floating pins) . Appear to have mismatch rod bolts. 427 .060 over Je 12.5:1 Pistons (closed chamber), 2 of the pistons are new. * I am cleaning out my garage and it's time to let this project go. There are no stamps on the deck. Original 4 bolt. No vin stamps .This with a sleeve and possibly a home and new rings and bearings could be assembled and ran. Or do as you wish. Part it out. Use what you like. Thanks for looking. I am looking for dz 302 parts, please contact me with any questions. Thanks and good luck. Key words, copo, l88, ls6, ls7, l89,l78,zl1.z28,Dz302 |
