  • Complete sacrificial anode kit to replace all factory installed anodes found on the transom and drive unit
  • Genuine Mercury part
  • Includes mounting hardware
  • Magnesium anodes - for use in fresh water only
  • Mercury part number: 888755Q03
  • Replaces Mercury part numbers: 888755A1 and 888755Q01
  • Aluminum anodes are what Mercury installs from the factory, but magnesium anodes are more effective in fresh water

  • Never paint anodes
  • Anodes should be checked and cleaned frequently - a dirty anode is not protecting your outdrive
  • Anodes should be replaced once they have dissolved 25% to 50%
  • Installation of a Mercathode system can prolong the life of your anodes
  • Boats connected to shore power should also have a galvanic isolator installed
