A Real Good Looking Borg Warner T86 IP Transmission.
My limited research indicates that the tranny is most likely for MOPAR products from about 1936 to 1949. And perhaps Studebaker in the same time frame.
As shown this was built on Jan 30, 1937. In early 1937 Borg Warner was a small company & sold primarily if not solely to the Chrysler Corp. Of course the later T86 was used in many many different makes & models.
SO USE YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF CLASSIC CARS TO DETERMINE IF THIS IS THE TRANNY YOU NEED. Not mine as I am not an expert on pre 1950 cars. Now 1958 to 1964 GM is a different story.
This piece weights 97 lbs with a shipping weight of 105 lbs. The shift handle is long & this will at to the bulk of the shipment. (perhaps it can removed & packed as a unit.) The shipping is a flat $150.00. West of the Mississippi I'll be alright. East of the Big Muddy it will cost me more.
The intake & exhaust manifold/carburetor shown in the last 2 pictures is listed separately. It was from the same old shop in the same corner. It can be narrowed down to about 1939 to 1949 ''short block'' MOPAR.
They are in real good used condition.

eBay in their greed & disrespect for the seller charge (the seller) 10% of what (the buyer) pays for shipping. (Is it legal?) If the buyer pays me $20.00 for shipping ebay charges me $2.00 for the honor of doing the shipping even if the shipping costs more. This is to encourage free shipping & discourage high shipping charges. And as mentioned greed. The shipping is of course never FREE to the seller. So if the shipping costs seem high, I am paying at least 10% of it every time.
