Programming Instructions:

 

 

Remote programming requires a Valet Switch or Programming Button. For most Silencer Security Systems you will find the Valet Button behind the LED Light. If you do not have one of these accessories, please purchase one at checkout.

 

 

1)     Insert the Valet Switch (programming button).

2)     Turn ignition key to the ON position

3)     Push the Valet switch 3 times. This should cause the LED on the remote to be on continuously (not blinking) & the horn will emit (1) long chirp. You are now in the transmitter programming mode.

4)     Push the LOCK button on the remote. The LED will begin flashing slowly and the horn will emit (1) short chirp. The arm/disarm code has now been programmed.

5)   Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. The horn will emit (1) short chirp followed by (1) long chirp. This confirms you have exited programming mode. The LED should go off.

Does this keyless remote entry come with a battery?  

Yes. It will have a working battery installed.

Battery Condition:

        A. All remotes sold on Keyless4u include working batteries.

        B. Installed batteries are not tested for battery life- they are simply working.

             Some are new and some are used.

 


Your vehicle will be installed with one of the following keyless entry systems:  

  a. Standard Keyless Remote Packages: Installed at time of manufacture. 

  b. Optional Keyless Remote Packages: Installed by a dealer. 

  c. Aftermarket Keyless Remote Packages: Installed by previous owner or a car/audio shop. 

  d. No remote keyless entry system at all.
