Description
Turns over freely. Not Complete. Matching cases. Good Condition though disassembled. .020 pistons, cylinder walls look good. 1 repaired fin on the cylinder. This engine needs to be disassembled and overhauled. I took off of the sump plate and there was some crud that was easily cleaned out from the sump ,but the cases will need to be split to be thoroughly cleaned as well as the sludge trap. Overall, this lower end and cylinder/ piston appear in very good condition considering it's age compared to many other engines I have inspected.
The engine number is 6T 8666 N. My books say it's a 1950 model. Please doublecheck just in case.
It has a rare duplex sprocket that makes me think it may have been raced before I aquired the engine. I'm not sure though.

I have a little shop in Austin, Texas that specializes in classic British and American motorcycles. I am trying to thin out the parts stockpile I've accumulated over the years.
I have been a shop owner and professional motorcycle mechanic for 25 years so I can distinguish the difference between good serviceable parts from yard art.
International bidders are more than welcome to bid on parts unless otherwise specified. I will provide my postal code, weight and package dimensions. Ebay provides a convenient calculation tool and the Global Shipping Program which I prefer to use.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:
PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM AT CHECKOUT. PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SHIPPING COSTS. EBAY IS PAID DIRECTLY FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POSTAGE AND CUSTOMS FEES.
I try to give the most accurate description as possible. I try to treat buyers the same way I want to be treated when I'm buying something from eBay. However, it's the buyers responsibility to research the part and it's fitment before bidding. Please feel free to ask questions. I try to answer them in a reasonable amount of time.
If there is a problem with your purchase, please contact me immediately. I will do my best to correct any mistake on my part. Shipping and handling fees will not be refunded if there isn't a legitimate reason for the return.
There are NO refunds or returns on electrical parts. I try to test everything I sell before I list it.
Electrical parts are too susceptible to damage from improper installation and handling.
