Overall runner length is probably one of the most critical aspects of a high performance engine. With our range of spacers and trumpets, length adjustments can be quickly made to find optimum performance.  Spacers are also very handy for gaining clearance away from throttle linkage mechanisms when fitting Plenums and cold air intakes.

All trumpet and spacer base flanges have two 6mm fixing holes at 65mm center spacing. This will fit ALL RHDengineerimg throttle body products but is also consistent with a many other applications such as DCOE, DHLA, IDA and IDF carburetors.

Fully rolled entry lip trumpets will minimize turbulence and flow loses as air enters the trumpet ensuring maxim potential flow potential is achieved

So looking at this situation you can see that air must accelerate from what is essentially stationary atmospheric conditions to the sped of sound all at one place.... The entry of the trumpet! A parabolic entry shape has been tested and proven by many high performance experts to have the least amount of flow loss by creating an exponential acceleration curve for the air during its transition from atmospheric to high speed flow into your engine.

RHD Spacers and short series one-piece trumpets are machined from solid 6061 billet Aluminum. All billet trumpets are 38mm tall and spacers come in either 50mm or 80mm length, with both tapered or parallel bore options.

Our range of 2 part trumpets are precision spun from 6061 aluminum, then anodized RED or GOLD for durable corrosion resistant finish. Base flanges are CNC machined from 6061 grade aluminum and firmly clamp the trumpet base.

All spun trumpets are supplied 76mm long with a short parallel section where the base flange can be clamped. They can be trimmed down to minimum length of about 60mm.
