You are bidding on a matched pair of Borg Warner Velvet Drive V Drive boat transmissions.  This set came out of a 1978 Uniflite with low original hours. Both tags read "Velvet Drive No. 10-04-000-011 Ratio E-1.5".  The serial number on the brass tag reads "1693" and the red tag is "1800". These units are sold as is but I believe that they are both operational. They are in good condition. One unit may have been rebuilt over the years as the paint is cleaner, the nuts are unpainted and the identification tag was repainted. One was designed for the starboard engine and the other was utilized on the port. They turn freely and the gear selector also moves freely.
