Description
This one-of-a-kind security lock replaces your existing nut under the trailer ball to prevent theft of your unattended trailer equipment. You ever drop your boat and leave your trailer hooked up to vehicle? You own a business and tow valuable stuff? Even with the typical hitch receiver and coupler locks in place, one can easily unscrew the nut that holds the ball on your trailer hitch, then lift up the trailer ball still attached to the trailer coupler, drop the ball stud/shank into the hitch ball hole on the getaway vehicle, and off goes your entire rig!
Installation is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Remove your existing ball mount nut, replace with the new nut fitting and secure the housing with the push of the lock and that's it! This patented lock is designed to fit your existing ball mount with a 1 inch diameter trailer ball shank. Typically this is a 1 7/8", 2" or some 2 5/16" balls, with the 1" shank. We don't not yet make this lock for 3/4" or 1 1/4" shanks.
Every component of the RJ Lock is built for ultimate strength and corrosion protection. The major components are built from an anodized solid billet aluminum housing and a dense plated steel fitting. The keyed lock within the housing is custom made of stainless steel and brass. This salt tested lock will absolutely standup to corrosion!
