This EFI Engine Wire Harness is in excellent condition. It is a freshwater part from Wisconsin. This Harness shows no signs of overheating. There is no melting or fusing of the wires. There are a couple of wires that have been cut (pictured).  

The EFI Engine Wire Harness fits many Mercruiser sterndrive motors from 1998 with a 496 MAG sterndrive or 8.1L inboard engine.
