Now, as for the poduct,
Vortex Winches have been around for many years. Just our company has sold sold several thousand over the past 5 years or so with excellent results. Issues are very few and far between. These come with a solid warranty, so please buy with confidence. Vortex winches are very similar to the value series Warn product, except we offer far more variety in pulling capacity. If you want to compare these to a Warn, for example, the specifications are very similar, except for the price. There is no doubt that warn offers a quality product. There is no doubt that we offer a quality product. Ours cost well under half of what a similar Warn product would cost. We encourage you to think about it carefully, as there are some definite economies in what we can offer. These are much better than the 'travelling tool show' type winches. There is no comparison. These compare very favorably with various models of Warn, Ramsey, SuperWinch, MileMarker, etc. As you ask around and browse the web, you will find as many varied opinions about all brands as you can imagine. In our experience, they are all fairly similar. Whether you buy from us or not, just look carefully at the price.
