Materials

The exhaust valves are one-piece design and made from the finest chrome and high nickel stainless steel alloy, providing superior resistence to fatigue and high tempuratures.

The intake valves are made from HNV-3 alloy, the same material used in diesel intake valves, and a BETTER alloy used in most of todays aftermarket valves.

You get these premium-quality valves without huge increases in cost.

Enginetech High-Performance valves are swirl polished and made out of the finest grade materials. Enginetech knows that remanufactured engines are installed in very harsh environments. Therefore they have upgraded the materials of there Rebuilder’s Valves for severe duty.

Stem Finish

These valves have a stem finish of 17 RMS or better, far superior to the more typical 22-28 RMS finish found on most aftermarket valves.  The result of this is a longer life for seals and guides and greater valve durability.

All of the valve stems are either triple chrome plated or gas nitrided. They even go a step further and harden every valve tip to 50HRc minimum.

Chrome Plating

All Enginetech valves have a triple flash hard chrome plating that is .0002" per side, with the specific finish for better oil retention, improved resistence to galling, and greater durability.
